If you are an older person, you may be dealing with special challenges, such as social isolation, or caring for your partner or another person.
Because of physical and cognitive changes associated with ageing, it is becoming increasingly common for older people to suffer from anxiety and depression.
If you are suffering from these feelings, or feeling socially isolated, you will benefit from attending our Wellbeing program for older adults.
The key elements of this program are:
- Learning more about what to expect at this stage of your life, and the kinds of feelings and physical changes you may be dealing with.
- Meeting others in a small group who are going through similar situations. This is a good way to feel supported.
- Beginning some gentle strength training and exercise, which can help you in a practical way.
Morning tea, a hot lunch and afternoon tea are provided.
