Dr Alison Cleary MBBS (Hons), FRACP- Visiting Consultant GeriatricianDr Cleary completed by MBBS (Hons) at University of Tasmania in 1999 with her clinical years at RHH, LGH and Mersey Hospital at Latrobe. She undertook training in Qld, with diverse interests including paediatrics, palliative care in remote indigenous communities, specialist renal transplant and haematology services. Dr Cleary completed her physician training at Princess Alexandra Hospital and Prince Charles Hospital Qld. She completed advanced training in Hobart with fellowship clinical work at Older Persons Mental Health Services (OPMH) and received her FRACP in 2010. She has subsequently worked across rehabilitation and acute inpatient services in both public and private hospitals. Dr Cleary currently work in private practice on Mondays at The Hobart Clinic (Rokeby) and is employed as a Staff Specialist in Geriatric Medicine at RHH for the remainder of the week. She has a special interest in cognitive assessment and the management of complex psychiatric and behavioural care needs.
Dr Anca Corbu FRANZCP, MBBS, AMC- Visiting Consultant PsychiatristDr Anca Corbu is a psychiatrist based in Hobart, Tasmania. With over 14 years of experience in the field, Dr Corbu is known for her expertise in adult psychiatry and her ability to address psychiatric problems in clients with a disability. With a patient-centered approach, Dr Corbu ensures that her practice is rooted in evidence-based medicine while also taking into consideration the personal factors that contribute to each individual's mental health. She believes in collaborating closely with her patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes. Dr Corbu's special interests lie in adult psychiatry, where she focuses on providing diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management for a wide range of mental health conditions. Additionally, she is adept at addressing the specific challenges faced by individuals with a disability, integrating her psychiatric expertise with a deep understanding of their unique circumstances.
Dr Elizabeth Walker MBBS FRANZCP- Visiting Consultant PsychiatristDr Elizabeth Walker has practised medicine and lived in Hobart since 1989. Liz has expertise and interest in perinatal psychiatry and has also worked with the Perinatal Infant mental health team at Royal Hobart Hospital. Liz also currently works in the Mother Baby Unit at St Helen’s Private Hospital where she has admitting rights and access to the Mother Baby Day Program. Liz enjoys and values the team based approach to enabling good mother baby attachment and working together to support families in the critical perinatal period. Liz has experience in infant, child and adolescent psychiatry. She has worked with local paediatricians, psychologists and educators and has been involved in the care of children and families affected by serious chronic illness such as cystic fibrosis and diabetes.

Dr Mike Jordan MBBS (UK) AMC Cert (2009) FRANZCP- Consultant PyschiatristDr Michael Jordan is a knowledgeable and accomplished psychiatrist based in Hobart, Tasmania. With over a decade of experience in the field, Dr Jordan brings a wealth of expertise to his practice. Dr Jordan's commitment to his patients is unparalleled. He actively listens to their concerns, takes time to develop a comprehensive understanding of their unique situations, and tailors his approach accordingly. Dr Jordan is known for his ability to establish a strong rapport with his patients, fostering a safe and trusting environment for open communication. Dr Nicolle Ait Khelifa BMBS MRCPSYCH, FRANZCP, FAChAM.- Visiting Consultant PsychiatristDr Nicolle Ait Khelifa is a General adult psychiatrist and addiction medicine specialist having obtained FRCPsych with sub specialty addiction psychiatry from the Royal college of psychiatrists UK and since returning home to Australia with her twins FRANZCP and FAChAM. Nicolle has worked in the Drug and alcohol field for over 20 years, in multiple services across the UK and Australia. She worked as the consultant for the North Islington Drug Service and Camden Alcohol Service and is currently employed as the Statewide Specialty Director of the Alcohol and Drug Service (ADS) in Tasmania. Since coming to Tasmania, she has established Addiction psychiatry training sites at ADS and has continued to advocate for improved access to services for clients.Referral Requirements
